Who's X?

So, who am I and what is this blog about? 

The answer to the first question is easy. 

My name is Chris and I am a medical engineering student from Germany. At the time of writing this small article here, I am 25 years old. And to complete my short introduction, my interests are... Well, I guess there is enough information about that in the what's-this-blog-about-section below.

"So, your name is Chris. But what's this 'X' stuff about?", you might ask. 

Let me try to explain. You know how people abbreviate Christmas with Xmas? It is basically the same thing.
IF Christmas == Xmas
THEN Christ == X
But since the t is kinda in Christmas is kinda silent we arrive at "X". I have done the math several times. It works out. Also, a friend of mine sometimes calls me ChrisCross. And the letter X resembles the geometric figure called cross quite well.

To finally answer the second question about what to expect on this site:

I suppose a wild amalgamation of different things. I am generally interested in tech stuff, video and board games, food and cooking, sports, art in a very broad sense and a lot more. There is a good chance you will find something on this blog about any of the topics I just mentioned. And I guess this might be a problem. I suppose people are generally more interested in following "experts" of a certain topic, whereas I am just a rusty Leatherman, kind of doing everything but there is a better tool for every application (great self-advertising, I know...). 

There is a reason for this.

By now I have lost count of how often I tried to establish an "online presence", mostly YouTube channels, dedicated to a certain thing I was interested in at the time. However, I jump from hobby to hobby much too quickly to dedicate myself to a single thing for a longer period of time (at least until now). That's probably why all my past efforts ended like a firetruck in a traffic jam full of deaf people. I just get bored with things.
That's why I have decided to start a "personal" blog (and YouTube channel) about whatever is boggling my mind at the moment.

So, I guess the TL;DR of what this blog is about:

Whatever I am interested in right now and find time to talk/write about.
